Meet people. Feel safe doing it.

TagIn is about meeting people in real life. Here's how we help you do that safely, and what you can do too.

Built into TagIn

The safety tools are part of the app from day one, and they're free for everyone.

Adults only

Everyone on TagIn is 18 or older. We ask for your date of birth before you can join games or chat.

Verified profiles

Take a quick selfie and our team checks it's really you. Verified people get a badge. We never show your selfie to anyone.

Ratings after every game

Players rate each other on being on time, fair play and communication. Profiles also show how often someone turns up.

You decide who joins

Hosts can approve every player, set an age range, or make a game for women only.

Report and block

Report or block anyone from their profile, a game or a chat. A real person on our team looks at every report.

One-tap safety alert

Save up to five people you trust. If you feel unsafe, one tap opens a text to them with your location. You press send.

Your location stays private

Other people only see roughly how far away you are, not your exact location.

Lock the app

Lock TagIn with your fingerprint or face, so no one else can open your chats.

Good to know: a Verified badge means our team checked someone's selfie. It doesn't promise how they'll behave, so the tips below still count.

Tips for safer meetups

A few simple habits make every meetup better.

01

Meet in public places

Choose busy, well-lit places, especially the first time you meet someone.

02

Tell a friend your plans

Let someone know where you're going and when you'll be back.

03

Keep chats in TagIn

Stay in TagIn chat until you're comfortable sharing your number.

04

Never send money

TagIn has no payments. Never pay anyone “through TagIn”, and never share codes (OTPs) or bank details.

05

Trust your gut

If something feels off, leave. You never owe anyone a game.

If something goes wrong

Tell us. Reports are confidential: the person you report isn't told who reported them.

Report it in the app

Tap ⋮ on a profile, game or chat and choose Report. For a message, press and hold it. Our team usually reviews reports within 48 hours.

No account? Email us

If someone used TagIn to harass you, write to our safety team. You don't need an account, and we'll act on it.

In danger? Call 112

TagIn isn't an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger right now, call 112 first.

Our rules, in plain words

Everyone on TagIn agrees to our Community Guidelines. Here's the short version.

Be real. Your real age, a name you go by, and real photos of you.

Show up. If you said you're coming, come. If you can't, leave the game so someone else can play.

Be safe. Meet in public places, trust your instincts, and leave whenever you want.

Be kind. Disagree without making it personal. No slurs, threats or harassment.

Speak up. If something feels wrong, report it. A real person reviews every report.

Keeping children safe

TagIn is for adults only. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. We remove the content, permanently suspend the accounts involved, and report it to the police.

If you see anything like this, report it in the app or email hello@tagin.in with “Child safety” in the subject. If a child is in danger, call 112 first. You can also report online child abuse at cybercrime.gov.in or on the 1930 helpline.

Our child safety standards
